VT-50SBW problems
Was gratified to find this product at Costco for just over $500; seemed a good value. Has been much noisier than expected. And now after having it for only 15 months, without inspiring it, it has simply stopped cooling though the compressor runs non-stop. The only Vinotemp authorized technician in the in one piece Houston area basically said it would cost $200-300 to repair, with no guarantee that something else would not go reprehensible. He stated that all of these coolers require some maintenance or repair every 2-3 years.

Fallout Review
I had shopped around for a seemly wine cooler. Target, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowes, Sam's, online, you name it. I did not deficiency to spend $1000.00 on a 50 bottle cooler, but all of the products at the aforementioned places were tastelessly made. Not all had wire racks and the ones that did slid out like an oven shelf. All of the wood pip trim items had plastic shelves. This item has wire racks that slide out on fully extendable tablet-bearing glides with real wood facing. I think it will hold a full 50 bottles too. It is lose noisy especially compared to my GE Profile kitchen appliances. Probably as loud as a bathroom flue. Also, keep in mind it is single zone. I think it is overpriced at $1000.00 because I was able to find this product at my Costco Go-down merchandise for less than $500.00. $500.00 it is a steal, $700.00 good buy, $1000.00 plus shipping I would keep looking.

Watch out -- DESTROYED IN SHIPMENT DUE TO POOR PACKAGING
The component is not shipped in a box -- it arrived with a cardboard sheath on the top and sides, but the bottom was protected only by a thin sheet of styrofoam. The entrance way was completely broken off and is beyond repair.
This item was sold and shipped by Amazon, not a third party vendor. This may be the worst episode I ever had with an Amazon purchase.

Prodigious 2 door fridge
I purchased this element over a year ago for my office. I particularly wanted 2 door so my frozen food stayed that way until I microwaved them. I by the skin of one's teeth moved to another state and gave this wonderful, reliable refrigerator to a friend whose son is in a dorm at mould and wants to keep ice cream in the freezer. I waited almost a year from the price to come down. I was completely satisfied with the display of this unit. The freezer kept everything frozen. The unit kept food cold. Now I emergency a fridge at my new job. I wish I had know that before I moved. Now I'll need another one.
Recommend this refrigerator.

Undecided temperature!!!!
Igloo FR834a 3.2-Cu-Ft Refrigerator
We bought this for our medicla advocacy to store vaccines. Unfortunately it will not hold the temperature within the range needed to keep the vaccines. We desideratum the refrigerator to keep the temp. between 36 & 46 degres Farenheit but it won't come close. Itprefers the mid fifties or the mid twenties. A very split second adjustment will send the temp. one way or the other. We even put the unit in the middle of the room to see if it would help but it doesn't. Very downcast in this product!!!

Dimensions
I have not purchased this (yet), although I am in the retail for an under-bar refrigerator, and this looks like it will fit the bill. I rated it middle of the road since I cannot rate it fairly until I buy it.
The puzzler: This is not the first time I have seen Amazon get critical dimensions completely wrong. The product particulars here suggest that this refrigerator is 48 inches high. That would certainly not work for under a counter! End gives the dimensions as 22.25 x 21 x 35. That's more like it.
Amazon: Please be more careful when relocation dimensions.

The first conditions we received this item, it was damaged on the right side and back like it had been dropped. Called Amazon who replaced it and refunded our shipping charges. The b one was received and is working great.

Do waste - works fine for a while then bam. nothing.
Soul nice looking shelf with a door on it - that's what I have left. Worked fine for a few weeks... then stopped root. No warranty support - I'd have to pay to ship it back and forth to have someone examine it to see if they could fix.
Never will purchase another Igloo product. I have a completely effete refrigerator in my office now - a stainless steel cabinet with a door on it.

happliy surprised
after reading other reviews, I was hessitant to buy this. Trustworthy glad I did. It works great, is fairly quiet, and meets all expectations for a frig. It maintains the refrigerator niche at 33 degrees while being set just below the middle of the thermostat.
My only complaint are 2 very small dents in the stainless front entrance. This cosmetic flaw was too small to complain about, but did not happen in shipping - the frig was packed with the wee dents.
Even so, it is still pleasant looking.
Overall, very good product. What a great surprise!

DOA
I did not interpret the reviews before purchasing, and I paid the price. My refrigerator was dead-on-arrival (DOA). I had to send it back. Disconcert on me for not reading the reviews ahead of time.
I echo the statements of others. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

sucks
Do not buy this component. Igloo refrigerators are made by curtis intl. No one, NO ONE makes parts for it. And they break fast. Mine is about 1 year old. A $12 part penurious. I have to throw it out because I can't get the part. Call curtis and you'll speak with someone in Bangladesh who will make you repeat your name 40 times, reprise your phone number another 30 times and then tell you "we don't have that part, no, no one makes that part, no we can't tell you what to do."

Why do Eskimos have refrigerators in their igloos?
Q: Why do eskimos have refrigerators in their igloos?
A: Freezer burn is a real concern and they want to be able to find their food
Solar energy going to waste. Isn't it like having a refrigerator in an igloo - the owner of an orange grove
Q: buying orange juice at the grocery store, or a man dying of thrist not taking advantage of the pounding rain he's engulfed in from the thunderstorm overhead.
It's falling all around us and why are we taking advantage of it?
A: It's not going to waste. In case you hadn't noticed the sun powers the weather, helps same plants grow and makes the planet a livable temperature.
We might be able to maximize it's energy to our benefit but to say it's completely going to waste is incorrect.
