Product Focus - Panasonic Commercial Microwave Ovens
First, there's the Compact range, typified by the Panasonic NE1456, the NE1846 and the NE1856. With a medium range power output, these microwave ovens are designed with the smaller kitchen in mind. Hence, they're built to have a smaller footprint, whilst still providing the exceptional cooking ability you would expect from Panasonic's commercial microwave ovens.
Next up is the Light/Medium Duty series, available in the shape of the Panasonic NE1027 and NE1037. These two commercial microwave ovens represent Panasonic's best solution for kitchens working to a tighter budget, where high usage isn't a factor. However, despite being a lower price, they still have the stainless steel shell of their higher-end equivalents, and as such, offer an exceptional blend of power and value.
In addition to this, the two highest models in the series (the Panasonic NE2180 and NE3280) offer a Sonic Steamer function. As such, you can also use the microwave to directly steam food, and no extra water is required, as the microwave oven itself converts the water in the food into steam, allowing you access to a self-steaming system, which is done directly in the oven, without the need for a traditional cooking range.

My Panasonic microwave oven door is stuck. How do I open it?
Q: I used microwave for thirty seconds and when the message came 'Press to open door', the door would not open when I pressed the door release pad. What can I do to open the door and remove the item inside the microwave.Any suggestions?
A: Mine does this occasionally, and it's because the door hinges have got a bit out of line, allowing the door to drop slightly, so the catch mechanism won't quite disengage.
Look along the bottom edge of the door and see if it has dropped lower than the front panel next to it. Try applying a bit of upward pressure on the bottom edge with your fingers, while pulling towards you at the same time, and with your other hand press the release button.
If that gets it open, remove last night's failed meal, open the door fully and carefully force it up a bit at a time, to bend the hinges back to level - keep pushing the door back so it nearly closes, and look at the bottom edge to check on progress. When the bottom of the door looks level with the panel , try closing it fully and see if the release button will open it again.
Good luck!
Any idea where I can find a user manual for a Panasonic Microwave/convection oven?
Q: I was just given a Madame Grille, panasonic Microwave / convection oven. It didn't come with a user manual. I know it's an older oven and I can't find the model number on it.
I have sent an email to Panasonic requesting info as well.
Any other ideas?
A: Get a screwdriver and unfasten the control panel from the front of the microwave. Uses either a torx or a phillips screw. You should look for a white or cream colored envelope that contains a schematic and a operators manual in geek form; that is techno language.
Can i use aluminium cake pan on a combination microwave (oven is Panasonic GD576M and has no Covection button?
Q: Panasonic GD576M Oven 1000W capacity (1300W Grill) - facility to Microwave, Grill, Combination cooking. Can use metal cake pan if used in combination mode? Can anyone please explain how preheating is done if I use combi mode - to bake cake?how much time would be required for baking?
A: Have you looked for the manual that came with the oven? A quick check on the web produced the following:
- Wire Rack
a. A Wire Rack is included with the oven in order to
facilitate browning of small dishes.
b. Wire Rack should be cleaned regularly.
c. When using Wire Rack in the manual GRILL or
COMBINATION cooking modes, be careful to choose
heat-proof containers; containers made of plastic or
paper may melt or burn when exposed to the heat
radiating from the grill.
d. When using the COMBINATION mode, never place any
aluminum or metal container directly on Wire Rack.
Always insert a glass plate or dish between Wire Rack
and the aluminum container. This will prevent sparking
that may damage the oven.
e. It is not recommended to use Wire Rack when cooking
in the MICROWAVE mode only.
From the above I deduce it must be OK to use aluminum in a combination oven.
