Queer Waffles!!!!
This waffle maker makes the unexcelled waffles ever! They are large and you can make 2 at once. Machine is easy to use, beeps when it has heated to the correct temperature, add your clout and it beeps again when the waffles are ready. Simple and DELICIOUS!!!

We purchased this artifact to supplement our regular oven. We normally cook one or two biscuits every morning and thought we could put by time and energy having a counter top oven. The instructions stated that it would require less habits to cook and a lower temp...not so! It took 25-30 minuites to cook two biscuits at the accustomed temp (on our conventional oven) of 450 degrees. Also the trays tip downward when you pull them out. We are effective to return this unit immediately. We have bought Black & Decker products for all our lives, but this unit falls far below our expectations.

This caught on fire!
This is not a commentary that the numbers are too small, there is no light, I do not like the beeping. Other than a small fire, I LOVED this toaster oven, but it is sedulously to get over flames in your kitchen.

While I have had B&D toasters for over 15 years, I was shocked to be standing in my kitchen while I watched the top fervidness element spark and flame up while making dinner. I use this toaster oven on a regular heart for baking and broiling and have had no problems for nine months. When I was six minutes into broiling a steak (one of the main uses), it started to iota set and at seven minutes it broke out into flames that did not decrease when the unit was unplugged.

My mother also owns the piece and uses this more than the stove. The day before my fire, her unit would not work unless the timer and temperature were both on (had not happened before). I find it odd that two toasters in two states would break off in the same weekend.

FIRESTARTER!
We were reasonably delighted with this toaster oven; although it didn't toast well or evenly, the glass gets very dirty, it gets very hot and the heating detail coils catch on fire frequently. We were willing to settle for this less than stellar functionality until this morning when toasting some olla podrida brown patties. All of a sudden there were sparks flying out of either end of the toaster oven (literally sparks of fire shooting all over the scullery counter and toward me) and then before you know it the unit was on fire inside. Thankfully we were able to unplug it before there was any real harm; no damaged kitchen cabinets and no kitchen fire - but if we had left the kitchen for a minute, our kitchen could have caught on fire. This is the man Friday TRO651 that we purchased, and the second one to bite the dust! I will definitely buy another toaster oven, but I will decidedly NOT buy another Black and Decker.

Pathetic Product
Black & Decker makes somewhat good light-use power tools so I figured this oven would do the trick too. Not so. The "convection" fan, which didn't noticeably revive cooking from the start, ceased operation after about 10 uses and after about 3mos. the toaster function withdraw from. This was not from high volume use - we're talking one person using it about 2-3 times/week and mostly on toaster background. The only way is works now is on "oven" setting. This product is weak for the $50-plus price tag.

Inadequate Construction
I had numerous problems with this Heroine-R-Oven. I've only had it slightly over a year and I am now junking it and looking for a new one by a new brand.
Within about one month, the oven temp dials popped off, and continued to do so each yet I used the toaster. The handle to the glass door came loose next and must be reattached each unceasingly a once or I will burn my fingers. The coils are placed in such a way that it overcooks near the front of the oven, but not enough in the middle. Cheers is ALWAYS inconsistent, sometimes burnt on the ends but not toasted in the middle. It Never toasted evenly on both sides. Any attempts at radiating result in the same problems.

On the plus side, I did not have some of the other problems often seen with toaster ovens. The timer turns off on impulse when I open the door. It was a simple chirp that could be heard but not too loud. I liked having the atom tray pull out from the front. And the coil protetion was helpful for dripping pizza and such.

Considering the rate of this toaster oven and the problems I have had, there are others that are much cheaper which I am sure would do a much better job.

Most skilfully waffle maker ever!!!
Since the Eggo's I dear one so much are in such short supply (I like the whole grain ones), I decided to make and freeze my own waffles. The belgian waffle maker made the waffles too thick. I was in use accustomed to to a thinner version as with the Eggo type. I bought this waffle iron and it fits the bill literally. Waffles come out perfect every time and I can freeze them or keep them in a zip lock bag and pop them in the toaster - AND I can make them with oat fiber, whole wheat flour, flax seed, or anything I want and they come out crisp and delicious everytime.

An bonus bonus to this item is that you can also use it as a grill to make pancakes or grilled cheese or anything you want to grill by turning over the removable plates which can be then put in the diswasher.

I proclivity this product.

Regard it!
I absolitely disposition this wafflemaker. It makes the best waffles, not big thick belgian ones, but smaller square ones. It also makes the finest evenly browned grilled cheese sandwiches. I've also grilled hot dogs on it and I've had a friend state " It's like being in Yankee Stadium." It is so easy to clean because the plates (reversible for waffles/grilling) fastening out and can be submersed in water,unlike other wafflemakers that do not have removable plates. I do not normally fill out these reviews, but I lady-love it so much I came back to order another for my niece and just had to tell everyone. Buy it! You will love it!
