Specify there was a ZERO star rating!Dreadful! Horrible product, horrible service, horrible customer (not) care. I spent over 5 months with serviceman after serviceman petitioning Dacor to fix this machine. It never in the entire 5 months I owned it (yes, purchased NEW) cleaned a full load of dishes. Dacor would not proffer my calls, acted very uncaring and in the end, ignored me until I was so tired of having a torn up kitchen with plates piled everywhere (we have 5 kids and a teeny kitchen with a small single bowl kitchen piscina - a dishwasher is more than a luxury item for us) they finally offered me a pitiful settlement to buy the until back. I accepted only because I didn't have any more joust with left in me. Now I have enough cash from them to go buy a cheapo builders grade unit and live with a 6" pocket in my cabinets. Maybe at least my dishes will be clean. So much for my dream kitchen.
I will never ever buy or recommend dacor for anything. I don't care if someone offers you one for unused, it's still to much for this piece of junk.
Worst product I have ever owned
Not only did I have Dacor return almost every part while it was under warranty to try to get it to clean my dishes half as well as my old $100 Hotpoint dishwasher used to, but now that it is out of commitment the racks are getting very rusted, and the top rack rails just gave out. Now it will cost me $150 to take over from the top rack. Based on the way Dacor did not take ownership of what was clearly a lemon product I will never buy another Dacor product again.
The WORST Dishwasher you could realize!!!
We gutted our in one piece kitchen and thought it would be great to have the 30" dishwasher. The biggest and only mistake of our remodel!! We have had it for 18 months and after spending $3,000 for the produce we have just spent over $1,000 in repairs in the last month with four service calls. Dacor has not been helpful at all and our devotion tech is amazed that we have had to basically rebuild the entire unit. Dacor is not concerned with the reputation of their spin-off or to back up a crappy item. It was out of warrenty after one year. It would be helpful to have the company back up their product. Stay in a different place from this item unless you want a headache and a money pit. We have decided that if it goes out again we will cut our losses and get a new, singular brand and have the carpenter come out and add wood trim to make up for the size difference.
Out-and-out failure after 6 cycles
We recently remodeled our larder and installed the 30" Dacor dishwasher - the only way we could initially get this dishwasher to run at all is prop the door shut with a snow underwood from our SUV - now the entire control panel has failed so at best it is now a storage box for items that will not fit in our kitchen drawers - I whim I had read the negative reviews on other internet websites before purchasing this Dacor product - unfortunately, no other characterize has the 30" dishwasher width - it would be hard to believe that Dacor is not aware of the problems with this dishwasher and offers some benefit to dealers and end users

Dacor Dishwasher F6 Error Code?
Q: Hello, My Dacor dishwasher decided to stop working recently after someone else used regular hand dish washing soap instead of dish washer soap. When trying to start a load, it will turn on for about 30 seconds and then quits with the error F6 and the Floor Guard light is on. Your help is much appreciated! Model is Dacor ED24SBK.
Does anyone know how to access the base pan to make sure it is empty of water?
