Calling great at a much lower cost
I purchased these in preference to of the GE WMF filter because the GE's were SOOO expensive. This is the first time I've purchased something other than GE filters. They work just enjoyable. One thing I would say, though, is make sure you turn the water off to the frig before you change the filter. My husband didn't do that and we had a deluge in the frig.

Does not occupation
The generic screen is not similar to the original Amana filter and cannot be installed. There were no instructions included so any alternative inauguration methods could not be attempted. The configuration of the top of the filter is not similar to the original Amana filter.

Does not industry
This screen does not work in my refrigerator, so I had to replace it with a genuine GE MWF filter. I wish I had bought it through Amazon. Unfortunately I bought it through another retailer, who refused to refund my wherewithal. I am currently trying to obtain a refund from the manufacturer, since the box claims a 90-day unconditional guaranty. So much for trying to save $10.

Flawless
This membrane strain works perfectly. No issues with installation or water quality. Unless there is some unforeseen "failure" in the next 6 months, I can't see any fitting to spend extra money on the original.

Not as described
The WSG-1 gauze was described as replacing the MWF water filter. This is not true as the one I purchased did not work. The seller never replied to my emails. I basically received a refund from Amazon.

Reasonably.. and thats it
Claims to be matured by water professionals. I guess they aren't that professional afterall. The water tastes horrible, and it has this weird "hull odor" like scent to it. YUCK Will never buy again, but it may be the luck of my draw.
The device fits the fridge undeniably and installs quick. Aih...

Previous leaking was so bad the the water was literally sloshing around in the head liner, filled up the ceiling light fixtures, and poured out into onto us, the carpeting and the expensive leather seats. Previous water damage was so bad that the dealer had to replace some electronics, and had to remove and clean the headliner...in the process, the OnStar was damaged and we had to take it back again. Our decision to purchase was predicated on owning a VUE previously and doing extensive research before making the decision to buy the Outlook. We firmly believe that we have a lemon and that Saturn, given the economy, the fact that Penske just got into the picture, and all the advertising about the quality of the product (and it is a quality product), that the vehicle should be replaced with a new one at absolutely no cost to us. This would be a real opportunity for Saturn to turn a problem into a triumph. A lot of times most accessories, even sunroofs, are dealer installed. I would check with Lokey and find out if they installed it or if the factory installed it. If it was the factory, I would definitely go after Saturn, but if it was the dealer, that is who you should be hounding. Also, lemons happen, that is why there are laws concerning them, you really shouldn't bring the Penske name into this, he doesn't even own it yet. But if you don't get the answer you are looking for from Saturn (who has a pretty good reputation) or Lokey (which is less than stellar) I would suggest legal counsel to look into your options as far as the lemon laws are concerned.
